Scottish Labour's education spokesperson, Iain Gray MSP, said:
"The Committee heard this morning that Brexit uncertainty is damaging the HE sector.
"SNP ministers could help by guaranteeing to keep the £90m for EU student tuition in our Universities, whatever happens with Brexit.
"They are quick, and right, to criticise the UK government for creating uncertainty, but here it is SNP ministers who are at fault.
"They should give our Universities the guarantee they want and need right away."
